Life and adventures of Jeff Dozier

We are looking forward to seeing you in Mammoth this weekend for Jeff’s memorial! 

Please try to arrive around or before 1 PM at SNARL, we would like to start the ceremony no later than 1:30.  The address for the Sierra Nevada Aquatic Research Laboratory is 1016 Mt Morrison Rd, Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546. 

We will have name tags. Please obviously put your first and last name on them! Then add how you know Jeff.

If you would like to bring a picture, we will have a clothesline that we are going to clip pictures to, and little notes from people. They can be a couple of sentences, an anecdote, something that you will miss about Jeff, something that he brought to your life, etc. We will have paper and pens available at the memorial to do this as well.

We will have a ceremony with family speaking , then we will have a break for buffet food, beer, wine, drinks - and then we will have what we are terming a “Jeff campfire“ with a hot seat upfront with a microphone for anyone and everyone to share their stories about Jeff. This will be informal and everyone is welcome to eat and drink and come and go during this time.  Gregg Vane will start out the campfire circle.

We have no slated ending time, please feel free to stay and talk as long as you would like.

Dress “code” is Jeff Dozier casual! Wear your “Patagucci”, as dad always said, short sleeves are fine, black is definitely not necessary or expected! Be comfortable. Function over Fashion.
